This is a 1 Hour Beginners Hatha Yoga Class. We will be doing a well rounded full-body yoga practice suitable for all levels, with modifications using props for absolute beginners. This is a full-length hatha yoga class that is not as fast-paced as a more flow style class, such as a power or vinyasa class.

However, it’s not as slow as restorative or yin yoga either. It’s the perfect middle ground for beginners, or anyone just needing a good, full-body head to toe yoga practice at any time of the day.

In this video I am using a few different props. I am using two yoga blocks, and a yoga strap. If you do not own these, just find items similar in size and shape to substitute with. For example, use a belt or the tie to your yoga mat instead of a yoga strap, and two similar sized books instead of yoga blocks. If you are a more seasoned yogi, you may not need any props at all.

As always, make the practice work for you. Do not push your body past its limits, you should never feel pain. Do what you can, and be okay with that, knowing that with consistent practice you will be able to do more and more.
